Julio Anta is a competitive bodybuilder. He holds the title of the 2017 South Florida Bodybuilding Championships (Mr. South Florida) 60+ overall winner. In 2019 he was the runner up in the Florida Bodybuilding Championships 60 + and runner-up in the North American Bodybuilding Championships 60+ lightweight division.
Anta is a martial arts fitness instructor in his 60's. He was born in 1957. Anta's first black belt (black sash) was in Southern Shaolin, Hung Gar Kung Fu and later was promoted to Master (Red Sash) by Grand Master William J. Chung of N.Y. Chinatown. Anta has dedicated his life to martial arts and fitness.
He is also a Muay Thai Kru instructor, certified Krav Maga instructor, Haganah F.I.G.H.T instructor, Jeet Kune Do instructor, Judokickbox 2nd degree black belt and blue belt in Gracie Jiu Jitsu.
Julio is an ISSA certified personal trainer, has numerous kettlebell certifications, is certified in Battling Ropes by the originator John Brokesfield, in Indian clubs by Dr. Ed Thomas, is certified in Elite Combat Fitness, Action Strength, Burn with Kerns MMA Conditioning.
Anta is the video author of the 2007 "Anta's Shaolin Physical Conditioning."
In 2014 he wrote the book "Anta's Ageless Warrior Fitness." Today as this video was recorded he is a week weeks before his 63 birthday and in great shape.
