Krav Maga was developed by Imi Lichtenfeld in a hostile environment in which combatants could not devote many hours to hand-to-hand combat training. Krav Maga was created to bring students to a high level of proficiency in a relatively short period of time.
Head instructor Julio Anta is a certified in the Israeli martial arts of C.O.R.E Krav Maga, and Haganah F.I.G.H.T (Fierce Israeli Guerrilla Hand to hand Combat). He is a retired Corrections Officer and honorably discharged U.S. Marine Corps Sergeant. He is also certified in Jeet Kune Do, Muay Thai Kickboxing and a Hung Gar Kung Fu Master.
